Frequently Asked Questions
Formulary & Customization
- We prepare compounds across a wide range of specialties including hormone therapy, women's health, dermatology, weight management, GLP-1 peptides, men's health, sexual health, ENT, pain management, mental health, surgical support, veterinary, hospice, and gastroenterology. Our formulary is broad and updated regularly to reflect emerging clinical needs.
- In many cases, yes. Contact our pharmacists directly to discuss the formulation, dosage form, and intended use. We will evaluate feasibility, sourcing, and stability before confirming we can prepare it.
- We compound in a wide variety of forms including oral capsules and liquids, topical creams and gels, transdermal preparations, suppositories, troches, nasal sprays, and more. Specific availability depends on the formulation.
Turnaround & SLAs
- Most compounds are prepared within 24 to 48 business hours of a complete, verified prescription. Turnaround may vary depending on formulation complexity, current volume, and ingredient availability. Expedited preparation may be available for urgent clinical needs — contact us to discuss.
- Common causes include incomplete prescription information, prior authorization or insurance requirements, patient payment pending, or specialty ingredient procurement. Our team will reach out directly if any information or action is needed to proceed.
Controlled Substances
- Yes. We accept compounded controlled substance prescriptions where clinically appropriate and legally permitted. All controlled substance prescriptions must meet federal and Florida state requirements, including DEA-compliant prescribing and transmission methods.
- We accept Electronic Prescriptions for Controlled Substances (EPCS) from compliant EHR systems. Where EPCS is not available, we can provide guidance on compliant alternatives. Contact our pharmacists for specifics based on your practice workflow.
Onboarding & Getting Started
- You can send prescriptions directly via our online form, fax, or through your EHR. No formal onboarding agreement is required to get started. Contact us and we will walk through the best workflow for your practice.

- No. We work with practices of all sizes — from solo practitioners sending a handful of compounded prescriptions to high-volume clinics with ongoing formulary needs. Every prescription receives the same level of care.
Communication Protocols
